« 2 December 23:44 » i have had a message sent to me by one of the marks, not sure which one as i dont recognise the email address, but he sent me information about the car rally on this weekend, and there are airspace restrictions so if it is flyable this weekend then you need to keep away from nanty moel, rhigos, cwmparc, seven sisters, bryncaws, cwmavon. unless you can saty above 4000mtres above sea level
« 2 December 20:32 » I think I will try Merthyr or Fochriw tomorrow. Can't do the Bluff as I have to pick up the dogs' passport from the vets later.
« 2 December 18:59 » Hi looks like a nice day for hay bluff tomorow, wensday, I think the wind is starting north but will go round to the west later,so 12am--3.30pm it should be bang on NW. the sun does not come round at the bluff till after lunch so no rush.
« 2 December 18:57 » I'm a new member to the club and thinking about going flying (paragliding) tomorrow. Are any of you venturing out? If so it would be great to meet up with some of you.
« 1 December 21:10 » Flew for 40mins at Hay Bluff this morning in 15-20mph NNW, crisp cold but great veiws over to the Beacons.
« 1 December 20:40 » Managed 45mins off the Blorenge today, thanks to Chris White for directions and pre flight info. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Flew back to Keepers pond.
« 1 December 18:36 » Did a top to bottom from the Garth this evening as the sun set behind me. It was interesting given the 10-15mph winds coming from 315 degrees!
« 29 November 21:28 » well, cloud base was below take off for most of the afternoon. Ahh well, maybe tomorro
« 28 November 21:21 » Hmmm, Looks like it may be a busy day on Pontlottyn tomorrow.
« 27 November 21:04 » Hi Tanja, you have to go through the farm yard and follow the track up to T/O. You also have to pay the farmer £2. but at least you can ask for directions!!
« 27 November 19:10 » Well, got friday off. Anyone heading to Bryn Caws? And anyone know where exactly it is on the map? I've found Bryn Caws farm...
« 27 November 09:26 » hi here is a link that has the location and some photos and links to multi map and street map etc.forcast has changed to S now so may be irrelevent any way Bach is not a sew site its a long mynd/malvern site , but you would be ok as a guest.- -- ---http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/4247/whimble_and_bache_hill.html
« 26 November 21:02 » Where is Bach Hill?
« 26 November 19:27 » Hi I am planning to go to Bach hill which takes SSE--ESE,If the forcast stays the same. at the moment its for south going east,
« 26 November 18:06 » I'm hoping I can take friday off, any recommendations for sites?
« 24 November 22:54 » Anyone out tomorrow???
« 22 November 20:15 » I was on top of Fochriw at ten this mornin gettin rained on. Wind was strong but doable but I didn't want to get my kit wet again so I went home.
« 22 November 16:24 » I'm thinking about having Christmas get together in Aber or maybe somewhere else sometime in the next few weeks on a Saturday night where we could have a few beers and chat and then go for a meal after who would be interested in coming along......Mark
« 21 November 21:16 » I might be about. Might get lucky in the afternoon. Wind looks NNw-N. Hay Bluff, Blorenge?
« 21 November 19:04 » Anybody flying this weekend????
« 15 November 17:45 » Poss slim window of opportunity pm sun , but which direction? I thought Blorenge but maybe even Fochriw, will seeon the day.Possibly even mother natures little tease.
« 14 November 14:19 » I have only ever flown there once. The forecast is for winds around 12-15mph, is it likely to be higher being at the coast or lower? It looks dry at least with light cloud. Think I might head over their Sunday and morning with my 19m2 paraglider and my speedwings. Not soared any speedwings in laminar air yet.
« 14 November 13:43 » Hi all, not flow for months :(.. getting desperate. What do people think about prospects for Rhossili on Sunday... too strong?

I wonder if there is any truth in the rumour that the SEW committee is going to charge people for postings made on the club forums?? Apparently it could be construed that this is an attempt to put a stop to all the frivolous postings that have been made recently, as it is possible that these postings are giving a false impression of the...

It needs repairing before the...
